Are you absolutely thrilled with the car you are now driving? If not let me show you how to drive the car of your dreams.
What you drive says a lot about who you are. We can all identify with
Batman’s Batmobile,
James Bond’s Aston Martin
or even Bo Duke’s General
Lee.
Whether you are a minister or a coach, a salesman or a student, a rock star or a stay at home mom, how you get around plays a very important part of your life. We all spend a lot of time in our cars and these need to be places where we can freely express ourselves and recharge our internal power cells between events. Or maybe driving is your passion. Have you ever dreamed of being a professional stunt driver or maybe driving a race car?
My love affair with cars began at a very early age. I can’t remember a time when I was not fascinated by cars, trucks, tractors and boats. Anything with an engine was of interest to me.
Over the years my dream car has changed. Early on I wanted the Flame Orange Firebird that my Grandfather drove. He gave it to me on my 17th birthday when he replaced it with a new Trans Am.
Soon after that I dreamed of owning a Datsun 280ZX. It took a while for the ZX to be manifest, but it is parked beside that old Firebird in my dad’s garage.
Later my dream car was the All Wheel Drive Turbocharged Eagle Talon. That one came into my life in an amazing manner. It is parked in my garage right now.
Also, as I was growing up I dreamed of having an off road racer. As we drove down the highway I would imagine driving in the shoulder area jumping over the driveway entrances. Watching SCCA Rally racing and film of the Baja 500 fueled this desire. That car dream was finally manifest in a Performance Rally Racing Jeep Cherokee. After racing a few rallies, I discovered rock crawling and have since converted the Rally Jeep in to an off road rig.
In my own life cars have meant many things to me. People are always seeking my advice on what car or modification I think is best for them and the way they drive. Just yesterday, I got a call asking about what I thought of installing a lift kit on his pickup truck. We discussed the various things he plans to do with the truck and now he has a better idea of the research he needs to do before he makes a decision.
Are you looking to make a car buying decision soon? How will you decide what car is right for you? Will you be motivated by the advertising hype? Will you listen to the advice of the car salesman who get paid on commission?
Because the car you drive is such a big part of who you are, you need to know what is important to you before you make a decision. This is where I can help you.
If you accept my coaching offer, I will sit down with you and help you determine what is important to you about your transportation needs. Are you more concerned with safety, making the right impression on your clients or customers, utility or seating capacity, or are you more concerned about how fast and comfortably you can get from point A to point B. There are no right or wrong answers here except those that are right for you and your current situation.
Once we have determined what you want in a car and also what you don’t want, we will begin the process of narrowing down the options. Is what you want available from a car dealer new or used? Or will you have to build it like I did my rally racer. Maybe what you want is so different from what is offered that you will have to design it and have it built. Nothing can stop you from driving your dream car except your own imagination.
You may find that you are already driving a car that is close to what you want. In that case, I can help coach you through the modifications needed to make sure that car meets all your needs. I can also help you design a plan to keep that car running in top condition and continuing to meet your needs for years to come. Or until you desire something different.
Maybe you are considering the purchase of a car for someone as a gift. Possibly a teenagers first car. Do you know what they really want in a car? Is what they think they want really what is best for their current skills and situation? Do you really want to give your 16 year old son the keys to a 400 hp Camaro?
I can help with this decision making process by helping you determine the needs and desires of your child along with assisting in reaching a solution that everyone is happy with. And if your child is happy with their car, they are more likely to take care of it.
When it comes time to buy a car, I can help you get the best deal on what you are looking for. I can coach you with car shopping tips and negotiation tactics. I can’t however guarantee that you will save money on your next car purchase because many clients have been willing to pay whatever it cost to get exactly the right car for their situation as soon as they find it.
But imagine the feeling of paying for a new car and knowing that it is exactly what you want. You don’t have to wonder if you made a bad decision. If someone else says their car is better, you will know in your own mind that your car is the right one for you right now. Imagine the confidence you will have arriving at your next sales meeting knowing you are driving exactly the right car for you. Knowing that you have equipped your car office to be the very best possible place to prepare for your next meeting.
Also imagine for a moment that feeling you get every morning when you get ready to go out and you see your car waiting there ready to take you out into another successful journey. It may be your work truck loaded with just the right tools in the right places to get a job done right. It may be a distinguished looking sedan with a quite smooth ride that prepares you for a comforting counseling session with a troubled client. Or it might be that fire breathing custom muscle car that can melt a set of tires with just a touch of your foot on the gas pedal. Imagine the feeling of power and energy that driving a car like that gives you.
Everyone has different ideas about what they want and need in a car. That is why there are so many different makes, models and styles available. And even then, you can’t truly have a car that is your own until it is modified with your own personal touches.
So if you want to experience the feeling of knowing that you are driving exactly the car you want to be driving right now, or if you just want to find a few ways to make your current car better meet your needs and desires, contact me for a free coaching assessment session.
